“I've ordered Zumuku off Deliveroo from the Cheadle restaurant a few times, this was my first time going in person. We had 10 of the sushi rolls to split between three to start and I had a pork ramen for my main. Delicious, filling food and really friendly and quick service. Would absolutely recommend!”

“This is not a typical Japanese restaurant. The interior design is fusion, so are the meals. They gave another amazing experience. The staff were all nice, polite and responsive. We had a joyful lunch hour.”

“Used to love this place, but they have gone downhill. Food was fresh, but the quality was not to the high standards I would expect from them. Service was not great. They forgot part of the order, didn’t ask about any dietary requirements, brought the wrong order and then argued back and went only to double check that they did in fact make a mistake. Rolls were poorly rolled, with rice being all over the place. Cocktails menu was creased and looked like it needs to be reprinted, with food stains over it. Was not a good look. They have introduced liquid nitrogen or some sort of special effect, but I found that it was just not done right with the server touching the food to ‘make the effect’ happen. Miso soups arrived luke warm. Disappointing, as I generally love Zumuku brand and some of their other branches are decent. Highest star for atmosphere, as they have a roof terrace, they just need to maybe add some decor. Also we were advised not to sit at certain tables as the sofas were dirty..”

“The best sushi that we have had in Manchester. Amazing that we got the opportunity to try with it being 50% off too! We ordered £100 worth of sushi including the fresh sushi tacos (crab tacos and salmon and tuna tacos) and only paid £50 for everything ! Quality of the food was just top notch - Would definitely be returning! The host was also very warm and welcoming - shout out to Jake for being so lovely despite coming in to work on his day off in this heat! It was very hot and humid without any aircon in the restaurant; fortunately, we brought our own portable fan for us and the baby!”

The service was beyond amazing — warm, welcoming, and super attentive throughout. I also tried their Pina Colada, and wow… easily one of the best I’ve ever had! From food to drinks to atmosphere, this place nails it. Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Wilmslow, can’t wait to come back!”
